Hypnobirthing
Antenatal Class in leeds and virtually
If you ask the dictionary to define hypnobirthing it says:
'A method of managing pain and anxiety during childbirth, involving various therapeutic relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing and visualization.'
While hypnobirthing includes relaxation, breathing, and visualization, a good course also includes understanding how birth and your nervous system work, and covers decision-making tools and birth rights!
Hypnobirthing is not just for birth, it is important to utilize the tools during pregnancy to aid in relaxation and to train your brain so that you can access that state easily when it comes to giving birth.
Hypnobirthing can be a standalone antenatal class or complement other classes such as NCT or NHS provided antenatal classes.
Usually hypnobirthing is not avaliable on the NHS.
I deliver this session virtually or as an antenatal class in leeds.

Do doulas support homebirth?Yes, I support all types of birth. I can support a homebirth virtually through helping you prepare mentally, and physically (wondering what you will need)?. Do Doulas support Freebirth? This is a personal decision for each doula. I am happy to support freebirths if you have chosen to take that radical responsibility as a family.
